There is a list of resources for further reading on the subject of music and sound creation if you want to become more proficiant, but some of these tools are easy and fun to use without any experience what so ever. If you are making a simple game, there is no need to pay a professional for your audio assets.

Partnersinrhyme.com - You can download and use the free music loops and full length music clips in any commercial multimedia project. In return they only ask that you please give Partners In Rhyme a link on your website or blog, a credit in your Youtube video, or just a nice email saying "Thanks!".

Freesound.org - Freesound aims to create a huge collaborative database of audio snippets, samples, recordings, bleeps released under Creative Commons licenses that allow their reuse. Some sounds are completely free to use without attribution, while other sounds require attribution.

Freesfx.co.uk - Free sound effects that can be used in any commercial, non-commercial, broadcast multimedia/audio visual production. Certain restrictions are in place on how the sounds can be used which can be viewed in the End User Licence Agreement.

Freemusicarchive.org - All music you'll find here is free, meaning that it is available for you to download at no cost. What else you're allowed to do with the music varies depending on the license that's associated with each track.

Musopen.org (Classical Public Domain Music) -  Musopen is a non-profit focused on increasing access to music by creating free resources and educational materials. They provide recordings, sheet music, and textbooks to the public for free, without copyright restrictions.

Milky Tracker (Windows, Mac, Linux) -  MilkyTracker is an open source, multi-platform music application for creating .MOD and .XM module files. It attempts to recreate the module replay and user experience of the popular DOS program Fasttracker II, with special playback modes available for improved Amiga ProTracker 2/3 compatibility.

OpenMPT (Windows) - OpenMPT is a popular tracker software for Windows. OpenMPT (short hand for Open ModPlug Tracker) is completely free and allows you to create and play back some great music on your computer. Based on the original ModPlug Tracker written by Olivier Lapicque, OpenMPT is free software and supports a wide variety of module formats and offers an intuitive, native GUI as well as advanced features such as VST plugins and ASIO output.
